Use Coconut Charcoal to Detox Naturally

Activated coconut charcoal is a game-changer. This all-natural way of detoxifying has saved me many days and nights of misery from the dreaded stomach bloat and cramping. I don't know how I lived without it before.

Wait... but yes I do. I just stayed miserable on the couch with stomach pain.

Recently, I went on a Chipotle run. I love Chipotle and it is my go-to if I need to grab something quick. I don't eat out a whole lot so unfortunately, I overate and it upset my stomach. Not to mention the bowl I got was extremely good. Probably the best one I've ever eaten. As a result, I ate the bowl a little too fast.

I felt bloated and my stomach was cramping. Due to the bloating, I felt like I had a GIANT food baby.

In comes activated coconut charcoal to save the day. I took the recommended dose of two capsules. As a result, my feelings of bloating and cramping were gone within 20 minutes. Also, the giant food baby became smaller. I've never felt so relieved!

Facts About Coconut Charcoal

Charcoal is exactly what it sounds like. It comes from burning wood or in the case of coconut charcoal, coconut shells. It is activated by the high temperatures which cause the charcoal to change its chemistry. As a result, it creates millions of tiny pores.

The millions of tiny pores are able to bind to certain toxins inside the body and flush them out.

In fact, binding and flushing are so effective that hospitals use it for emergency purposes such as overdoses, severe poisoning, and alcohol poisoning.

The good news is, yes, hospitals can use it for emergency situations but it can be used safely by the general public. People who are looking for general detoxification in a safe way can use activated coconut charcoal. It is also great for relieving digestive issues such as bloating. It certainly helped me with my Chipotle binge the other day.

Simple Tips and Tricks

There are a few things you need to know before taking an activated coconut charcoal supplement. Taking this supplement the correct way is important. A healthy dose and a balanced dose is the right way to go.

Tip #1- Take Out for the Eat Out

Take the suggested dose after eating out or after eating something you probably shouldn't have eaten.

In most restaurants, you may not know what you are eating. For example, canola oil is not part of my cooking routine. But, I know a lot of restaurants use it. Guess what can clear it up? Activated coconut charcoal! I'm highly sensitive to nightshades (peppers, tomatoes, many spices) and I couldn't resist Mitchell's Steakhouse tuna poke. It has jalapenos in it. Can you guess what I did next? Yep, took my charcoal so I wouldn't be inflamed and achy all over.

Spices are especially tricky because I can't see them. Many places season their meat with spices I shouldn't have. You better believe I have my charcoal everywhere I go in case of emergencies.

Activated coconut charcoal will help you in these situations. It helps get rid of unwanted toxins and flushes them away.

In conclusion, if you go out to eat and you are not 100% sure what is in the food, take the charcoal. It will soak up whatever it is and flush it out. It will be like you never even put that in your body.

Tip #2- Detox With Coconut Charcoal Safely

Activated coconut charcoal can be used as a natural way to detoxify. Almost all of us humans strive to feel good every day. We strive to feel good in ways that we know-how. It is part of human nature to look for things that make us happy.

We are exposed to toxins every day. They are in the air, in the soil, in our food, and even the things we put on our bodies. Yes, even things we put on our body affects us through the skin. Your skin is the largest organ and it absorbs things super easy. Those chemical-heavy products you put on your skin and your face go inside your body through your skin. So, we are breathing toxins, absorbing toxins, and eating toxins. Yikes!

The regular use of activated coconut charcoal can help remove the build-up of unwanted toxins. That feeling of cleansing out your body gives you a serious increase in endorphins. Above all, it gives you a sense of cleanness on the inside.

While it's great to take coconut charcoal for detoxification purposes you need to be smart about it. Don't overuse it or it could become harmful to your health and wellness. I don't take it every day and neither should you.

Suggestions

I suggest taking it 2-3 times per week. Most importantly, take it around other supplements or medications. Coconut charcoal soaks up bad toxins but it can also bind to the good things, too. You don't want it binding and flushing out your medications or supplements. I suggest taking it within 1-2 hours before or after your regular medication or supplement routines. Also, I recommend Bulletproof activated coconut charcoal. Dave Asprey takes special pride and care to source the best natural ingredients in all of his products. His product is made entirely from coconut shells as opposed to wood, bamboo, debris, or peat.

Tip #3- Junk Flying

The vacations are absolutely fantastic. You won't find another person who loves traveling as much as me. If I wasn't a teacher, I'd be traveling around much more. But let's face it, flying is terrible. I'll refer to it as "junk flying" because to me that's what it is.

Almost everything about being on a plane is junk. The only things I can think of that are not junk is who you are with and where your destination is.

Planes expose you to so many toxins. Jet fuel is a big one. Similarly, the extremely dirty air. There are so many people getting on and off a plane. The air is not filtered like it is in other places. It's just dirty. I feel dirty when I get off a plane. There are other things I could talk about here as well such as the lighting and the jet noise but let's stick to the toxins in the air and from the jet fuel.

Toxins on a plane are absorbed through your nose, mouth, and skin. The best thing you can do for your health and wellness is to take two coconut charcoal capsules right after you land. Activated coconut charcoal can absorb the toxins you absorbed on the plane and get rid of them. It's a win-win! You feel better and you won't waste any time feeling "junky" during your vacation because of the flight you had to take to get there.
